How is the charity onto him?
Also it seems like people are offering places to stay as he runs along. I can't seem to find a single post or video where he is asking for places to stay.
As the guy above said, he is not breaking any records, he is just doing a long run, so it makes no difference really if you can track him or not.
You have gotten what you wanted as now he has a link on his home page. Let him finish his run.

The Royal British Legion are onto him as he had raised ZERO for them, yet had requested money to fund the trip.
Since they got onto him he has indeed put a link to the charity on his website, when before all you could see was GOFUNDME.
It is highly likely had this thread not been started that he would still have raised nothing for the charity.
As it stands now, he has raised £2,114 for HIMSELF and just £699 for charity.
So trying to say that doesn't matter as it's not a record is a lame excuse as to why we shouldn't be concerned.
People donated to his Gofundme in good faith that he would be running for charity. Then off he goes and raises nothing for weeks until Lets Run got onto him.
Sorry, that is not acceptable and he is clearly a scammer, using public money for this holiday.

The Royal British Legion is a legit charity.
But he doesn't care about the charity. That was only mentioned in order for him to get over 2 grand to fund this holiday.
The charity link was hidden until the charity asked him to make it more prominent and he raised zero for them for weeks until this thread appeared
How do you know the charity asked him to make it more prominent? Outside of Paul and his charity contact no one knows what was said when the got "onto him"
Again with regards to my comment about not being able to track him. This was in response to all the people complaining about maybe he was not running the whole thing, and not about anything else that people have a problem with. Again I say it makes no difference if you can track him or not.
On another note, i'd like to see you survive running 6 months through a foreign country on just £2,000, and still have money left for "yourself" at the end ;) I know that you'll say it's not the point, but it's the point i'm making :)
And, once again, what proof do you have that the charity got onto him about it.... ? It was probably just this forum.

I contacted the Royal British Legion myself, when I saw he had raised absolutely nothing for them, despite having been on the run for weeks, yet had got over 2 grand for himself, on the back of claims the run was "for charity".
They told me personally they would contact him and look into this.
He had been running for weeks but it wasn't until this thread started he mentioned the charity for the FIRST TIME on his page.
But it wasn't until the charity themselves questioned him that he put a link to the charity on the front of his website.
Before that, all you saw on his website when you clicked on it was GOFUNDME in huge letters.
If *I* wanted to run across America I would FUND THE VACATION MYSELF.
He has no right asking the PUBLIC to fund it then not even mention the charity for weeks, until WE were onto him.
Two grand is a lot of money and he has scammed this off the public.

So the scammer has finished his funded vacation and is now lying to the press he covered the whole trip on foot, when we know he missed sections.

Refuses to reply to any Facebook message to his page and just blocks anyone asking why he raised no money for weeks.

Wasn't really his in the first place - the public bought it, on the understanding he'd raise thousands for charity, then weeks into the trip he'd raised nowt.

Had a look at this guy - seems he got about £2,500 from donations for himself but only raised about £600 for charity. I think if you ask the public to fund a run for charity then you should be raising considerably more for the charity than yourself.
