GV dominated like expected, SVSU finally had all 5 run well with fraiser and Goforth showing up big time
Hillsdale ran ok, Tony was a tad disappointing, thought he'd be top5...
Walsh ran about how they should, but I thought they'd show up a little more and compete for 3rd
Besides that Nick hall was a tad bit disappointing, Wuoi Mach blew up, and The Ferris guys had a really rough day, expected more out of FSU
Winners: GVSU, SVSU, Hillsdale, Michigan Tech, Ngandu, Orndorf, Goforth, Newcomb.
Losers: Ferris State, Walsh, Ohio Dominican in DFL, and anyone who tried to hang near Nganda and Panning early. That course looked fast, but wasn't.
Who gets to Florida?? Seems to me the GLIAC has a shot at getting 4 teams out, especially if Walsh can do as they did last year. SVSU seems like a lock, would not be surprised to see them beat USI and take second.
Random stat from girls race. Because of rules Kaylie Rhynard who consisted 18th but 8th for GV not eligible for awards. If she had been eligible she would have been all conference in softball and xc in the same calendar year and basically did earn that.

That rule is bullshit. I hope Rhynard stood up and clapped slow and sarcastically as the girl who got 21st went up and accepted her all conference award. You want teams to only be able to get 7 all-conference awards? Fine, make it so only seven run at the conference championships!
Do we have an indoor track thread or has no one discussed it?
Hasn't been discussed yet. But the season has started!! Already numerous automatic qualifiers in the 5k. Weight Throw dominated by the GLIAC. Should be a good season.
Hell yea go gliac

Is Nick hall still running?
Nick Hall raced for Ashland at the GVSU meet in December.

Bryce Bradley is forgoing his senior track season to get a jump start on training in Kansas City, where he will be playing for a minor league baseball team affiliated with the KC Chiefs.
This is a big hit to GV, but former Laker standout Kyle Flores is getting a medical red shirt from the '15 track season, and is returning as Kyle David. Look for him to make an impact on the national stage, and cross your fingers that he actually finishes his degree this time.
In all seriousness, word is that Brian Bell of Houston(formerly Dayton Dunbar high school in OH) will be at tiffin. Not sure if that will be happening in time for indoor/ outdoor this year or until cross country 2017. Either way this will really shake things up in the GLIAC.
No it won't...

Friday predictions.
Bump
Should be interesting. GV distance runners typically race mile or 3k this week. Findlay meet had some good sprinting action last weekend. Will have to see start lists before making predictions. GVSU and SVSU hosting meets.
