Farah's 3.28 and Rupp's post AR workout makes me nervous, but I'd sure like to believe that there was no foul play. Maybe those are just outliers.

As an aside, I thought it interesting that it was recently noted that rupp has not posted since 2012 on Twitter. Yet, Webb is one of the people his profile follows. Webb only just got on Twitter in 2014.

You have to admit that this was a great weekend for NOP (except Rupp).

Levins looked amazing. So did Hasay. I didn't see Centro or Rowbury run, but Centro helped set the DMR WR and Rowbury was dominant.

While Cain got smoked by Wilson, she dropped about 5 secs off her indoor PR. Not too shabby.

I was impressed with Hasay and Levins. I'm no expert, but their form looked impeccable. They looked like different athletes.

I'm looking forward to seeing Rowbury vs Simpson. And Hasay in the 10K in a few months.

Cain ran solid but don't be ridiculous with the 5 sec pr stuff. She ran 2:35 in the 1k last year, do the math.

The difference between NOP and some of the other coaches is attention to cadence and form. Through observation one can notice the difference in both Hassay and Levins running style. There is better turnover as well as forward movement; less lopping and side to side action. Salazar's contemporaries focus on the energy systems. Jim Hunt the former Humbolt State coach has written often about the importance of focusing more on the former before the later.

What Salazar has is the best resources around. Not even close on that. I won't get into the debate of what that may or may not entail. Not sure it makes him the best coach, but certain proves he can be productive with what is given to him. Others are doing great things with a lot less, however, so its not really an apples to apples discussion.

One thing I will say is that it goes a long way towards proving the power of dedicated resources in developing top tier athletes.

The reasoning behind this opinion is not supported by conclusive evidence. HOWEVER, I've been around the block enough times to know if something smells this funny, it's probably shit. I think we saw a similar situation in cycling only we have not seen someone on the inside share the dirty secrets. The thing that smells funniest to me was the Centro indoor mishap last year. Again, no evidence. Just my opinion, which I'm entitled to have and share.

Yea you're right, sometimes smelly things are poop, so that is evidence to support claims that a group of athletes in the pacific northwest funded by a fortune 500 company are operating a systematic doping scandal, faking every drug test they take, and stealing medals from those africans(who are obviously above suspicion based on the fact that we don't have every thread on african athletes interrupted by doping allegations from the letsrun "insiders"). Yet, I am the dumb one?
