Always seems like BM to troll saying some kid is going to get injured (or to make fun of the fact that another runner actually DID get injured). Notable though that Anderson already has been injured - he was nursing a bad hip for the last couple weeks, didn't feel great until Thursday.

I don't think Anderson vs. Maton will be close, but for other reasons (NC guys usually don't treat BC as anything more than a tempo workout - see last year as a perfect example).
Maton and Dressel will probably go at it though, just like last year - they won't be running NXN-NW next week, and have a week to rest before FLW, so there's no real reason not to. I imagine Maton will have the advantage there, but you never know...
My take on this is that this is the year of the boys. last year everyone was (rightfully) gushing over cain, baxter, cranny, efraimson.
Now there's fisher, tamagno, ostberg, maton, and anderson. Sure, they're not pro-level like cain, cranny and efraimson (all sub 4:11 1500 PRs) but, these 5 are running ridiculously fast xc times and taking down, or nearing, the CR of big names.

Anderson actually led Dressel by a step at the mile in 4:43. Dressel then opened up a twenty meter gap by two miles, which Tanner then reeled in. Considering Dressel has a very good kick (FLN '13), I was surprised he tried this tactic. It will be interesting to see what he does at FLN'14

She was a legend to us running on the west too man. We viewed as equal to, if not hotter than Felnagle, but JAM was a year or two older than me... thus even more unattainable and more hot.
