Well, I've tried every way I know to recover those pictures, but to no avail. Given the reputation of LR trolls, I understand the skeptics. Letsrace.com, I'm sorry about my blunder. Maybe along with your race recap you could post a picture of my shirt to show you have it.

I took them via the Twitter app on my phone, to which I am very new. I didn't publish the tweets (took multiples, to pick the best later) because I thought they would all save to my phone.
Turns out I hadn't allowed my Twitter app access to my Camera app, so none of them saved.
OP, how was the wedding?

I was suspicious before the race but the kicker was when letsrace deferred posting the results to aurora man and within a matter of minutes auroroa man magically appears with the stunning results. Had he waited a few hours, it would have been less obvious.

Why is everyone so caught up on the pictures thing? If this were a troll thread, wouldn't it be easy to find a random picture of two guys wearing running gear standing together and say, "yeah, that's us after the race. Proof, MFers."

Look, y'all, I don't know what happened to the OP (who, by the way, seems like really nice guy just from the few minutes we chatted), but this race happened.
OP, you've had 3 days to give a race recap, so I'm revoking your winner's privilege.
Here is my account of the race.
5 minutes before start time- tall, lean 20-something walks onto track and does a stride. I approach and ask "Letsrace.com?" He nods and we both express surprise and excitement that the other has showed, then get our game faces on and do our final strides.
Start- OP gives the command, because I have home course advantage. I go out hard enough to make sure I'm leading when we leave the track, because I figure if he's fitter than me, it's best that I control the race as log as possible. For the next k, every time I feel like he wants to come alongside me, I inject some pace. I keep this up until the crest of the hill the first time.
Middle- after the steep descent, I'm feeling the early pace (my first k was definitely my fastest of the race), so I finally take my foot off the gas, and he comes right by me. Coming into the parking lot, he forgets to go left. Thankfully, he hears my shout and only loses a few steps. After looping the lot we head back toward the hill, and the gap is increasing, but only little by little. I think I still have a shot!
Finish- as I crest the hill the second time I try to gauge his distance (I would guess he had 10-12 seconds) and I intensify my efforts to reel him in. As we approach the track, I finally see signs that he's tying up. I'm sprinting now, trying to get as close as I can and wishing I had put up a harder fight in the middle of the race. But it's too late. He crosses the line as I'm halfway down the finishing straight. Too little, too late.
After- We're both spent and suck air for a moment. I finally look up with a grin and we both ex
