Why the heck is Jordan Hasay still racing?

Did we decide that the answer is money?

Her career may be quite short from here on. She's already put in a lot of miles and a lot of years. Get the loot while she can.

I don't really share the fascination with her. I was once in a meeting with her and Emma Coburn and Abbey D'Agostino and she was by far the least interesting of the three.

Lets do get back to the point. Jordan is still out there racing as many of the athletes feel like they can still maybe PR post world champs and since your in Europe already run a few more races. To your point it was a very long year of 10k's , she is tired. Al should pull the plug call it a year , feel good she got to world champs , made into the top 20 world times run for 10k this year.

At Jordan's current level she does not make money racing on the track , she will get transportation between meets , hotel , food stipend thats it. Expenses not covered by meets are paid for out of a Nike paid travel budget.

I would think the biggest reason is becasue she feels like she can. But beyond that, she is a pro athlete and pro athletes are paid to race and there is decent amount of money to made from a DL A race. Also, I think her ancestery is Swedish and why not see the world on someone elses dime.
