Didn't you read the article? She was mentioned in the article because the dutch reporter asked if she was involved because some emails Herzog wrote was to Dihoi... which is apparently some romanian guy - a retired athlete. The reporter asked if Pirtea knew anything because she's in Herzogs group. Pirtea was the only person to respond to the reporter. Apparently Herzogs father, manager and coach didn't respond.
I think it's hilarious how the reporter was trying effortlessly to connect the dots for some kind of "scandal" . But I guess that's why the article was removed.

Boulder groups are so stupid. No wonder why they all explode. There is so much drama and gossip between and within the "groups".
Imagine if Rupp and Salazar were worried about all the panzy LRer's posts. The 1,000s of posts saying he's doping. Do you think that group gives a crap about Let's Run?

On the Dutch forums, a club mate of the VN journalist (and reportedly an IT professional) Niels van Dijk is implicated as possibly having taken/printed the emails when visiting Herzog. Off the forums, he's identified as yet another fling of Herzog's, for her times in the country.
Here's where a common theme reimmerges. He was rejected, and supposedly as a revenge took the emails and leaked them.
You can't make this stuff up.
On Hudson, I wonder what his deal with Herzog was. Everyone knows she was cuaght red handed in Spain. Her coach confessed to a crime in accusing her of multiple kinds of doping.
Perhaps Hudson accepted to train her for a fee, for as long she's stay out of the bad press? That's the best explanation I can come up with, and it's not much good. Doping tolerant is the word.
If these allegations turn out to be false, will she be allowed back in Hudson's group? Asked this yesterday but it was deleted. Why?

Slightly under-checked article. Herzog isn't quite the best distance runners we've ever produced. She gets some serious amount of press for a Moscow DNQ.
At least fire up wikipedia before such a statement.
