just wanted to clear something up that was misunderstood on the other emu topic, i would do anything to help out the EMU guys in a bind, but i was joking about actually fighting, the "big guns" comment was a joke from the people on that team who used to pick at me(not in a bad way) for weighing in at 175 and being the biggest distance guy around........i owuldnt actualy call someone out to a fist fight......hope this clears it up.....didnt want to shed bad light on the fact that everyone thinks we are pricks or whatever.......anyway i say good luck to Goodridge and the whole mens team this year......i'm out

Let's look at the facts:

Boaz runs off-course and cries (waaaa), Goodridge is the most hated man in NCAA Cross Country, Crane is about to get his ass kicked next time he meets up with LDO at the fieldhouse and their most celebrated Track and Field icon, Earl Jones, is scrubbing piss stains off the floor, because I piss there on purpose. Next time I'm at the fieldhouse, I'm going to shit on the floor and call it EMU's mascot.

As a former runner at EMU, and a dam good one if I do say so myself, I am SO disappointed to see such a superb runner as Boaz lose the way he did. But, at the same time, I am even more disappointed at the way he reacted after the race was over with. Just like there is no crying in baseball ( Tom Hanks said so in that baseball chick-flick , so it must be true ) , there is even less room for a baby like Boaz. I say, suck it up, be a man, pull up your skirt, show some balls, etc., etc......Nobody saw me crying after I failed miserably in the Olympics a few years ago. Maybe if Boaz had his toes cut off by a lawnmower, I would perhaps show some symphathy for him. I speak from experience. Win graciously, lose graciously....NO CRYING!!...NOW GET OUT OF OUR COUNTRY, YOU FOREIGN #**!!!!!!!!!! :)

I know that Paul is a great runner, but calling Boaz a #**!!!!!!!!!! foreigner is out of line. I'm sure that Desgrange, Crane and Joel will defend their teammate, no matter how big you are....Won't you guys?

Dude, do as you like. Feel as you like. Know that you're making running out to be a lot more important than it really is. It's unlikely that more than a few people care as much about running as I do. (If you'd care to debate that, come heavily armed.) As much as I'm involved in the sport, I can't imagine what I'd have to gain by hating and ripping on others and doing so anonymously is unthinkable.

Am I allowed to change schools? I don't want to scrub piss stains for a living.

hey Bliss, sorry to hear that your college cross country career in college wasn't much fun for you. I suppose if I were running and looking at the backs of all the EMU runners, I may actually feel your pain...but i dont!....Sounds as if you are jealous of the EMU runners, past AND present....who did YOU run for?...I did a search of all MAC schools over the past 15 years, and can't help but notice that your name doesn't appear in any of them. I dont think you ever ran in the MAC. Come to the trials for the next Olympics, I'll be running in the marathon. You can have flash backs to your glory days as a MAC runner and once again see my back side from start to finish...although, i think at about the .5 mile mark you may a hard time seeing me, as i will have already passed the 1.0 mile marker. I will wear a t-shirt in Bliss's honor, it will read: "How do you like me now?"

I know nothing about EMU, but I can't imagine they stress writing as a core academic requirement. It's fine to write and speak informally, but if in the course of posting a message you sound like you are still learning the English language, I'm sorry, but it's hard to take what you say seriously. This is the funniest thread I've ever seen. If the posts from the EMU guys are legitimate, I would say you all deserve an ass kicking from your coach. The EMU guys look so foolish right now, and will look more so after nationals are over.
