Video of Beijing men's 5000m??

Any links?

Also, I updated my VLC and the marathon video still won't play. It does, however, play in the "player" feature of the Vuze client. That makes no sense to me. Anyone have any ideas?

Grab a torrent program and download these two torrents:

There's currently at least 6 seeders for each video file. British announcers like the 5k, and NO commercials breaks. 5k splits the entire way.. it's a great marathon clip. I'm still seeding the files.

I had to turn my computer off at home this morning, but I'll be seeding that marathon as well. I already have a ratio over 1.5 on it. Now, if I could get it to play in anything other than Vuze, I'd be good.

I'll extract the M10000 today and put it up. Might as well do the W5000 and W10000 while I'm at it.

Got busy with work and school. Why did I decide to go back to school? I'll work on the M10000 now.

Uploading the M10000 to Fileserve. It's 445mb, and I included the pre-race and post-race commentary. I'm only getting about 60kbs up right now, so it looks like it'll be two hours before it's done.

yeah it took me like an hour and a half to upload that 5000m since i only get ~38kbs uploading on my slow internet. i'll be looking forward to the link

2009 London (Wanjiru and co. hit half in 1:01:35, absolutely blazing)

2010 London (Kebede gets it done)

2008 NYC (Dos Santos sub 209, Radcliffe beats Goucher)

2009 NYC (Meb Wins!)

I had Boston and Chicago 2009, but can't seem to find them. May have lost them when I reinstalled Windows a couple months ago.

I'm loving this thread. It'd be awesome if people could keep posting races.

I sadly don't have any marathon videos other than the Beijing one. Like I mentioned earlier, I was extremely pissed off when NBC took down the 2008 marathon Olympic trials; I could not find a way to rip the footage from the site before they took it down.

I wish you had London 2008, with Hall in the mix; that was a really great watch. I wish there was an easy way for me to view the 2009 race, you probably don't want to upload it just for one person to view. I'd love to see that race again.

The next time a major marathon is being hosted online, I need to film capture it for myself because I'll likely never be able to watch it ever again.

I wish I had 2008 London as well. I do have a nifty picture that shows Hall, Geb, Lel, Dos Santos, Ramala, and Gharib racing it. I use it as my desktop as a matter of fact.

As for the 2009 London, I don't mind uploading it, but the issue is where do I put a 1.2 gb file? I don't have enough webspace, and all the free hosting sites I know of limit to 500mb.

I also have the Great North of this year, where Geb runs ~59:30. Not the most entertaining because there was basically no competition. But still, nice to see the Emperor do his thing.

you can upload files that big if you split them using winrar, or the mac equivalent of the app.
