I call BS on this...I know Gibby well and he is not that kind of person. If he said anything close to this, I am certain the tone was very different from that implied by the poster.

Other than giving Foley experience running NCAA's why wouldn't he run his best line-up? Tribble seemed to be getting better from where he started at the beginning of the year. Vig has got a lot of experience and talent on his squad and it wouldn't be surprising if he shook things up. What about the Mearns brothers? Steve Finley AA in the Steeple?
Clearly Coach VIG is changing up his lineup to make a point, he was not happy with his teams efforts at Regionals. I don't beleive Taye, Paisley or Vhrovac have raced much this year but I am sure they have not run a 10K this year. I think Vig made changes to make a statement, not to put his best team out on the course today.

If VIG isn't running his best line-up at NCAA's he's letting his ego get in the way of his team's performance.
Why would he not run Keveren.. the guy is top 30 for you at Regionals then you pull him from your NCAA line up? Doesnt seem to make sense to me....
