He's the king of the DNF. Apparently he has some semi-serious health issues (asthma, etc.), but, and this is pure Letsrun speculation, he also thinks a bit too much to be a competitive runner. He's got so much running knowledge in his brain that he can't just focus and run fast.(Of course, this is assuming he started. Some meeting management software puts a DNF in even if you're a scratch when it should say DNS.)
