Who are you to call us cowards? What do you guys think you're tough just because you posted your names. To me, it shows you are mentally weak and that you let people who you dont even know get in your head, so you defend yourself and post your name thinking people will respect it but really no one cares. Maybe you should be focusing on a national championship instead of what random people think. Look at all the NYU/Hany bashing that went on last year. Did they come on hear and whine about it? NO THEY WENT OUT AND WON AN EFFING CHAMPIONSHIP.
That kid was simply giving his opinion on Ramsey and the SLU team without being condescending at all. Ramsey took it personally and had to cry about it, leaving him open to ridicule. Because of your post, I'm going to be rooting against Cortland all season Ramsey and hope you fail miserably at nats.
BTW has anyone else noticed that half the Cortland team looks like they were created in a test tube.
That sentence should read, " I will be rooting against Cortland and Ramsey all season and hope you fail miserably at nats"
My prediction:
Kosgei is the obvious choice for first place not only in the Atlantic Region, but also in the Nation. My prediction, which might shock some letsrunner's out there, is that the St. Lawrence freshman (a countryman of Kosgei) will progress with each race, each practice, each workout, and will end up taking the # 2 spot both in the region and at the National Championship.
1. Kosgei
2. Kiplegat
oh man I really stirred some sh!t up by commenting on a tie and one flip flop in rankings...Donahoe ran a bit slower than Heymann did and was 5th in the country...SLU looked pretty good as a whole compared to last year...hows NYU looking?...the answer is depleted...not because I dont like them, not because Hany is an assho1e, not because their coach is a condescending passive aggressive ass, its because they lost a lot of people...thats why I thought they should be flip flopped
SLU should have gone to nationals last year and will this year and they'll do just fine
p.s. people who post their names and thoughts get my respect...so you definitely weren't on the same page as me when you anonymously spoke for the rest of us posters
I'm sure Cortland is panicking because you are rooting against them. Although, you can't see the leaders from the back of the pack anyway.
I'm glad everyone is yapping about Ramsey and Cortland (overrated btw!!). While you talkers are posting on letsrun Ithaca is running straight miles. You'll see.

You're talking on letsrun too dumbass... your're no better than the rest of us.
can't we all just get along?
we all know there is plenty of time to run AND post on lets run in a given day. get that crap out of here that people should be posting less and running harder. i hope ramsey runs well. hes a class act and a true competitor. i saw the guy race a few times last year and hes got my respect
What difference does it make if they're straight? SLU is running curved miles, I bet they win because they are trained to run turns.

What does the weekend schedule look like? When might we first see Cortland's "A" team?
Does anyone else not buy the credit that Hamilton is getting in the Atlantic poll? I think the idea that Kosgei has a 99% chance of scoring one point in any of their races earns them consideration for 10th maybe 9th but I see Ithaca and Plattsburgh safely ahead of them based on who they return, respectively.
agreed. hamilton does seem a tad overrated in the poll.
Hamilton has some pretty decent guys, but I agree that P-burgh and Ithaca will beat them handily. Just not up front.
If history is any indication, we won't be seeing the full strength Cortland squad until Paul Short, they seem to have run well with the late opening there in past years, so I see no reason why they would change this year.
Ithaca is gorges, not fast
sooo any news on what happened this week?
NYU's top 5 16:31, 16:33, 16:53, 16:57, 17:10
for the 5k at Marist...St. Peter's College was there too...(Schneider ran 16:33)

Don't think it happened this year...
