So....Hall is more talented than Geb, Tergat, Bekele, ANYone, right? If so, then what the hell is taking him so long to run a SINGLE race as good as those guys have done, oh, about 40 times each (as good as Hall's recent races are, none have been nearly as good as the multiple world record, world championship gold, and olympic medal races that those guys have all set) ? I guess you are saying that Hall has been a huge underachiever?

I agree with this completely. I think he has talent equal to a Geb or Tergat to be perfectly honest. .

Um, are you reading the same thread I am? Several people said he is on the same level as them, and some said he is on a higher level than them (more talented). And I am glad you had to throw in the not-so-veiled drug reference. And if Geb is indeed 10 years older than he says(as you implied), then you are saying he just ran a 2:04 marathon at age 44 or 45 ?? wow, he is even more amazing than I had realized. Lets see Hall do THAT!
Hall is the best american born marathoner we've seen in a long time, let's not get carried away people and say he has more talent than guys who have set a zillion WR's, won tons of medals, and have won way more WC X-C championships than Hall has ever even qualified for.
