you're like the guy who tried to say Lance Armstrong wasn't an athlete when he won this award. The guy said that Ricky Williams or Barry Bonds could have won the TDF but instead chose to pursue a sport where he could make more money. This is what you sound like to intelligent people.
Let's look at what makes an athlete:
Strength, Speed, Agility, Flexibility, Coordination, Cardio Vascular Fitness, Mental Toughness, did I miss anything?
Tiger has Strength (I'll bet he's just as strong as Steve Nash), Flexibility, Coordination, and Mental Toughness. Plus he has to have some quickness in his arms, core and wrists to be able to hit the ball so far, and he is a master of many things from tee shots to short game. So many things go into golf and someone who has never played competitively cannot understand how truly difficult it is.
Depending on what event you do, track can require all of the elements of athleticism or as little as one. Decathletes are the only ones who need all of them to be successful.
Nash has speed, agility, coordination, probably some cardio vascular fitness but not a ton, probably some mental toughness (but not enough to have ever won a championship). There is little flexibility required for basketball, so like Tiger with cardio, it is tough to tell how much Nash has.
I'd say Tiger likely has Nash beat on: strength, flexibility, coordination and mental toughness.
Nash has him on speed, agility and fitness. Coordination is close, but the golf is a much more technically difficult sport than basketball, so I gotta go with Tiger.
