Incorrect. Zang was 4:40-ish at 1600. Her mile split was 4:41. (4:44.08 was her split at 1618 meters.)

How fast can she run if she runs the first 1600 at a more normal pace? Maybe 9:30?

Not number 2, Number 1 all-time indoors. She broke Cain's indoor 2 mile record.

Hedengren didn't run a 2 mile indoors her senior year, only a 3200 indoors in 9:37.50. So Zang is even faster than Hedengren was this time last year. That's crazy!

Nothing wrong with transferring after the first year of college either. Once Noah Jenkins graduated from Herriman, he didn’t start at BYU, and then he transferred there
