And you are also leaving out context, which you know. They are urging the military to disobey illegal orders to attack their own citizens.
Well, that assumes that illegal orders have or will be given.
It is not the place of military personnel to question their orders.
If a military officer (commissioned or non-com) gives an illegal order, that individual can be court martialed.
If a civilian commander (such as Secretary of War or POTUS) gives an illegal order, that individual can be removed and/or impeached.
If you simply don't like the orders the Commander in Chief issues, we have these things called elections every four years.

I discussed the issue today with a lawyer who has spent 23 years as an active and reserve JAG officer. He said that he has been called on to instruct troops about the law requiring them to disobey unlawful orders hundreds of time. The military takes the concept very seriously. He also said that Trump made several statements about military action in his first term that would have constituted an illegal order if he actually had asked the military to do it. Because it was bluster rather than an order, the military did not have to refuse.

I’ve never seen anything like this. In politics if you disagree you handle it in the courtroom and debate in congress. You don’t go out and try to turn the military against the duly elected commander in chief. It’s almost as if they are getting order from a foreign intel group trying to take down our country and cause civil war.

They quite clearly did not encourage the military to defy lawful orders. You are either making things up or getting your news from I biased source (like Trump's press secretary who lied about the Democratic congresspersons' statements and they walked away when confronted).
