It’s somewhat predictable. Assuming Valby is in shape, she will try to gap the field from the start, and we’ll see who decides to stay with her. There are several in that field who won’t be able to, and will be out of contention early. I don’t think she’ll win the race, though. I’ll say she manages a top 3 finish. The wild card is ESP. What kind of shape is she in?
I don’t see that happening. She’s not running for a spot on a national team and it would make more sense to run whatever pace the front group is running, to test her fitness.
Kelati did not look that good at worlds. I'm guessing Roe and Kelati 1,2 and then the large contingent of unpredictable injury/motherhood rehab talent behind them in who knows what order.
