He does look good, legit athlete too - Chala Beyo former steeplechaser, won a diamond league in 2018 + ran 8:06 the following year and made the Worlds final

Did the whole lead group miss the timing mat or something? Not showing up through 5k but Mantz and others apparently on 2:01 pace

The timing site is messed up right now. It says Daniel Ebenyo is leading at 5k at 14:23, but he's leading the second group. There's a group of five up front and somehow none of them showed up in the results.

That group includes John Korir, Timothy Kiplagat, Philemon Kiplimo, Jacob Kiplimo, and Amos Kipruto. They were 13:58 (1:57:51 marathon pace) at 5k. Very aggressive!
