Not sure about the biatch part
LBJ was a Democrat.
He was a racist - just as his party still is.
A zebra doesn't change it's stripes.
sheesh rookie~~~
I knew Lyndon B. He was my buddy. We used to smoke crack together all the time. One time we was at the crack & field event (he ran the 800). When he whipped out the biggest crack pipe I never saw and a big ass torch and started smoking it up. And then he tried to smoke all my crack too so I had to throw hands. Yep. I whooped on LBJ that day for trying to smoke my last bag of crack. That's why he got mad and made such outlandish and racist decrees. He was a crack addict. I know cuz me and him was smokin crack back then. And Hunter Biden too. Those were the days. Wrasslin, foozball, and crack.
the fundamental fib you are pushing here is if everyone tried hard no one is left making minimum wage flipping burgers.
That isn't a fib, that is a reality. Some people are too useless to have economic value, and thus have to rely on others to feed them.
This reality is too hard to bear for the liberal parties in the U.S., hence why the uniparty implicitly celebrates dysgenic population growth by stealing from those who actually provide the means through which the economically useless are able to live in order to fund the leeches.
people wonder why i respond and it's because sometimes when you bother, the next iteration, or maybe 2 iterations later, finds this sort of gem.
it's debatable whether some twerp shuffling papers or moving money around is actually creating more value than a burger flipper, who at the end has produced an actual burger someone can eat.
and before you say, well, if they were that good at their job they'd be a millionaire celebrity chef, my experience some of the best places are holes in the wall many do not even know exist, one location, might even go out of business if the landlord raises their rent.
conversely trump is an idiot who can bankrupt a casino when handed hundreds of millions to start.
have you not experienced it where someone is successful and either not ambitious, not concerned about money, or in a useful profession where you don't make much?
conversely i know plenty of idiots and jerks who aren't very competent people IMO but pull down plenty, daddy's kid, know someone, went to the right school. one of the worst employees ever to come through our office probably works for the highest prestige employer of us all now. he came from money and knew someone.

this is orwellian crap. i am literally watching your party sue colleges claiming they let in "too many" minorities. or fire government officials and military officers/generals on the assumption if they are woman or a minority in a leadership job, it must be DEI. they could have a grad degree from a top institution, served in wars, worked their way up, and their next step you will call DEI.
frauds.
and since you have zero historical sense, the parties and their attractiveness to minorities flipped at the time of LBJ and nixon. nixon went after southern democrats. to do so he decided that the republicans were going to give the vote, and civil rights, AND THAT'S IT. so you had enslaved or improverished minorities, denied basic rights, for centuries, but you owe nothing and don't need to make it right.
so southern democrats are now republicans. which means if you follow the racists around on the chart, they're on your team now. hence you like guns and hate welfare and abortions. well, that's "asking for something."
your party is deeply confused. is it you don't want homeless or you don't want public housing? if you hate both you're just an a$.
"Is it you don't want criminals or you don't want to be stolen from? If you don't want either, then you're a mean (I should be able to end you with impunity)."
i don't even get what you're trying to say. i am not pro-crime. i am not one of those people who is like decriminalize shoplifting.
and if you're implying welfare states have more crime, that's the opposite what the stats say. we have some of the highest crime and murder in the industrial world. the highest quality of life countries are scandi welfare states.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in History.
One of my papers was on the myth of the "Southern strategy."
Suffice it to say that both parties had a Southern strategy going back to 1876.
The Solid Blue South didn't turn Red overnight.
That it did had little to do with race, and everything to do with the radical left wing transformation of the Democratic Party.
DNC rejected family, faith, and hard work.
Over a period of 35 years after CRA1965, those former Dems became GOP because their party had left them.
Southern states were electing Democrats to governerships, legislatures, and Congress throughout the 70s, 80s, and 90s.
They elected Carter and Clinton to the White House.
Explain - if there was some magical "switcheroo" in 1968, what the hell were those people doing voting Democrat all those years?
Something like 20%-30% of existing full-time jobs don't pay enough money to pay rent, hence low income housing.
Does the OP expect a full turnover of this group of workers with NO ONE staying in it? How does he expect them to leave it? Do we all have to take turns in those jobs?

Exactly. "Anyone working in low-paid jobs such as at fast food restaurants or retail should improve their situation and secure better employment in order to afford private housing."
However, the same individuals who express this expectation also anticipate receiving a service when they visit these stores, as well as having clean streets and their trash collected.
Do they think magic fairies are going to be put to work?

Something like 94% of people working minimum wage jobs are under the age of 24. These low paying jobs are supposed to be for young people who are just learning how to have a job and do the basics. You are meant to struggle somewhat at that age and also work crappy jobs for perspective and incentive/motivation to do something more and better in life.
I don't have the statistics, but I do know there are many, many people out there living on food stamps and welfare and section 8 housing. The US spends over ONE TRILLION DOLLARS on welfare programs every year. That works out to over $7000/year every working adult is paying (averaged out) to fund these non-contributing members of society.
I have an sister in law, white and at least somewhat privileged (siblings went to college). She got knocked up at 20 by a ne'er do well. He did not marry her. Only provided minimal support initially, then none. Sister in law went on Aid for Families with dependent children and discovered she made more money from that program than she would get from her fast food cooking baby daddy. Baby daddy reentered her orbit. Knocked her up again, and she got a raise! Fast forward 25 years, and both kids are now doing the same drill-unmarried with children, working fast food jobs. Original ne'er do well baby daddy died of lead poisoning 15 years ago-it came on sudden, right after he pulled the trigger.
Addiction issues, laziness, and sexual appetite of teenagers occurs in every socioeconomic level, and within every racial category. I don't think paying kids a salary to have kids is wise-but I also feel for the poor infants conceived under such a system who had no say in the matter.
See graphs of things like "corporate profits vs wages" and they help you see why no one had upward mobility.
Exactly. Capitalism has winners and losers baked in. It depends on people being poor. And in the last 3 +yrs that's on steroids. Why do people not understand this?
Capitalism has done more to enrich people and spread wealth than any system yet devised...Simply do some research...Socialism/Communism has been an abject failure everywhere its been tried.
Most poor people stay poor. Do you think the people cleaning offices and hotel rooms or working in the kitchen at a restaurant are going to work their way up to being doctors and lawyers? Many of them are actually going to spend their lives earning poverty level wages in jobs with no chance for advancement.
It's a combination of not being very smart, not having a lot of common sense, and a touch of laziness. Pull up your bootstraps and work harder, work smarter.
