Truly remarkable that Nikki went from being “done” 3 years ago per threads like the one I posted below to people trying to argue that 5th at the world championships is disappointing. What an ascendancy.
Nikki doesn't claim to be a man. She simply does not abide by gender distinctions. In that sense, she is in the right and everyone else is in the wrong. Gender is not real. It is made up. Sex is real.
If when you say "man" or "woman," you are referring to Nikki's sex and simply meaning "woman = adult female", then yes, she is a woman.
But the problem is that "man" and "woman" are very often used in a non-sex way, denoting identity in ways that have nothing to do with biology. In those cases, Nikki is not woman at all, because that definition of "woman" is deeply flawed. This is why we need a non-sex identity neutral pronoun.

I have ZERO faith that the four athletes that beat Hiltz are clean.
You think Hiltz is truly clean? (I mean I think the may be technically clean, meaning she's allowed to take something under a TUE.)
It's not so much just her performance that makes me think she's allowed to take something, it's her body composition. It's a STARK contrast to what it used to and from all her competitors.
Well, I knew that with Nikki running against the best 1500 runners in the world, it seemed pretty clear from the outset that they would win and they would not. And that they would have to do everything they possibly could to beat them.
Either way, I definitely was picking them to triumph over them. They clearly had prepared for them, learning their strengths and their weaknesses, and coming up with their best strategy to beat them.
Overall, with Nikki competing against the world's best athletes, I feel that they ran a great race against them, and they clearly put in a great effort against them.
So not to state the obvious, but...it's clear that they did their absolute best! And so did they!

after thinking about the final, it’s clear Nikki needs to level up one level to get on the podium. On paper Nikki was #3 of #4 heading into this but usually someone raises their game at Worlds. Going forward Nikki can’t count on attrition either. Someone new should come to forefront.

I think Nikki has to be more bold in races on the circuit. How are you expecting to medal if you spend the whole season going through 1200 3 seconds slower than it will be in the biggest race of the year. Chepchirchir and Hull both misjudged it and were struggling the 200. But they beat Hiltz because Hiltz wasn’t even in contention.

Brussels should have been a wake up call for Hiltz. In a soft race she didn't lead for a step, let Hall run very far away from her and was simply lucky that Hall completely cooked herself and crawled the last lap, a tactic we all knew Hiltz wouldn't be able to rely on when the race would be against Kipyegon, Hull etc, who simply wouldn't slow down. Brussels would have been the chance to be bold and learn where the limit was at the FRONT of a race. But after her Brussels performance I was extremely sceptical of her medal chances, even when others on here weren't.
All the focus on proper pronouns & gender identity is what got Trump reelected. Let Nikki just run. Who cares how she identifies as?
No. You're mistake is how you're asking your question. It should be why is it important for her to want so badly for us to care how she identifies! We never needed to know that she wants to be a male. She could have kept that completely private. It's TMI. But she had to make a big deal. A pronouncement that she wanted to be called a They or whatever.
