What is up with these long periods of no sound (watching on Peacock). So people were talking about poor presentation, well has taken a giant step backwards on day 2
SRR was also talking while they interviewed Vernon before the 200
Note from Rojo:
I'll be giving my 1500 analysis live as the race goes on starting at 7:45 pm ET.

Then Jonathan and I are going to go live at 8:45 pm ET.

Video of Vernon Norwood answering questions while setting up his blocks, but no audio of it
Ok in this 200, we'll see if they have the ability to quickly tell us with cool graphics who wins the $100k. I don't think that will exist based on what I saw yesterday.
Peacock keeps freezing on me, or buffering. Anyone else? I just installed a software update plus updated Chrome to get Peacock to work on my browser, so may just be me.
I'm trying to understand how sprint events work at major meets. For example, 110m hurdlers often run the 100m flat, and 200m runners may double in the 100m too. So does that mean both groups end up in the same 100m final? Does this lead to extra heats or more athletes in the 100m overall? And is that why someone like Gabby Thomas might do the 200m and 400m instead—because there’s not enough room or scheduling flexibility to also do the 100m?
They have got to tighten the broadcast up on this, or get some better broadcasters/producers to convey what’s going on, or both
Okay that didn't come through right. I'm talking about how the doubling works at Grand Slam track for the 100, hurdles, and 200, not other meets.

Why is there no audio for extended periods of time. Doesn’t seem professional at all
To be fair it's Jamaica and yesterday the Citius podcast lost their power source and had to find battery backup to continue. Although this could very well just be a less experienced crew getting their sheit together.

gabby can run whatever she wants, same w the other stars.
Jamaica was an awful choice for the first of these meets. Empty stadium optics are brutal
peacock been working fine for me just periods of no sound but video is fine
More on free tickets. This one says bleachers are free rest of meet. Other story said bleachers free before 5:30 pm
Great crowd 👏 👌
20.7 is the reason why this whole series wasn’t as well thought out as MJ thinks.
This post was removed.
I know they’re trying to emphasize time not mattering but they are giving us time, and I would like a wind reading to contextualize
Hudson-Smith is lucky that Jereem Richards had a bad race. If Richards won, then Bailey would be the Slam Champion

There are two "groups" - the short hurdle group and the short sprint group. Short hurdles does 110H and 100, short sprints do 100 and 200. Yes, they all do the 100 but they have nothing to do with each other. Completely separate events.

CONFIRMED. This is laughable. They whole appeal of this is supposed to be the 2-event score and the race ends and we have no idea.
I was expecting all 8 places and times to pop up on the screen with a 4th column that would instantly show you their point total. But now.
Disastrous for me.
You should pop them up live. Show 1st pop up live, theen 2nd and their points, 3rd, etc.
20.77 200m for $100K
pretty funny
