8:59 in the slowest section. first time it’s ever happened. this weekend could be one for the history books.
Another in the long list of examples of how super-shoes have skewed track times for the distance races. We are practically in cartoon territory now.

Union Catholic NJ boys took 3rd in the 4x800 with no seniors and have a guy named Ciaran BROSNAN
Union Catholic's top boy runner a few years ago was also named Brosnan. Ciaran Brosnan is probably a brother or cousin.
Yes. The year they took 4th at RunningLane XC nationals

yes, they have an insane squad this year. morales is running the invite 8 tomorrow.
Would JSerra boys have won the 4x800 with Morales?
Have to imagine they would have. Their anchor without him only went 1:52 or so.

Doesn’t matter how fast their anchor went. He’s not the guy Morales would replace.

True. Their slowest guy was a 1:58, so potentially 8-10 seconds off with Morales on the relay. Pretty crazy!
I’d love to see what JSerra can do with Morales in the 4x800 at New Balance outdoor nationals or whichever postseason national meet they go to
National record watch potentially

One difference maker was the addition of senior Newman (transfer from Canyon - Anaheim Hills).
Congrats to all the boys who did well in the 4x800 Invitational!
It was sad to see Great Oak’s first runner get tangled up and fall at the turn after the first lap. They were never able to recover that gap.

A 17:30 4X8 is insane(I know you mean 4X1600).

His “pinch hitter” ran 1:56.
Impressed by those Invite 4x800 & 4x1600's so many impressive individual and team preformances in those relays last night. There are some kids on those relays who should be in individual events does anyone know who's coming back today from those?

Incredible! That 3:12 they ran earlier was all freshmen. Never heard of such a thing! What are they feeding those kids?
