Her utter relaxation - and the others allowing her to dictate at her chosen pace - was mind blowing. Anning tried to pass twice, but Bol simply extended slightly, and said "nah, not happening".

When you look at Bol's relay legs from Paris (mixed and single sex) and her w4x4 leg here at the Europeans, she is clearly much better than Amber Anning. When we consider that Anning ran 49.29 to finish a marginal 5th in the Paris flat 400m, and Bukowiecka nee Kaczmarek who was 3rd in Paris, has only beaten Bol once, (back in 2017 when Bol was 17 and the Pole was 19) clearly Bol could have been fighting for the silver in the flat 400m had she chosen that path.

I know this is not breaking news, but seeing her head-to-head with Anning again, and wiping the floor with her, again, just underlined what we already knew: Bol is better than Anning in the flat 400m.

And again, not breaking news, but the top two in the 400mh, McLaughlin & Bol, are easily in the top 4 in the flat 400m, along with Paulino & Naser.

This comparison with Femke has to stop, because we all saw what happened in Paris. These two aren't on the same level - it's fine to win indoors, but when you can't even come up with something decent in an Olympic final or every time you face your opp it's pointless. Sydney always refers to Dalilah as her best rival and never mentions anyone else.
Syd also tries her hand at other events, but why hasn't Femke tried her hand against Paulino Nasser Nickisha in the 400m or Gabby in the 200m if she's so talented ? Nobody wants to talk about it (I'm guessing it's because this site turns a blind eye to it) but Femke only wins against nobodies and never gets out of her comfort zone (where she's not even the best, by the way). When she loses to Sydney again, this site will prefer to criticize Sydney instead of being honest about Femke. This year it's the perfect year for her to try something in the 400 maybe event the 800m

I don't think there is any debate about who is the better and more successful athlete to this point. Inarguable.

Syd is from another planet in the 400m IH and is very fast at 400m. She has literally owned Bol to this point. Has dominated her. No debate. I do think Bol will beat Syd at some point. It seems highly unlikely that Bol would remain winless given the fact that they face each other fairly often. The rivalry is good for track even though it has been one-sided to this point.
