10.5 miles easy. Was pleasant enough.
Just completed an easy 5 miler. Always run on Christmas Day

Ya. Christmas is kind of a weird day. Trails empty.
I noticed that on my jog this morning. My favourite run is along the Metropolitan Branch Trail to the National Mall. I only saw one person out running when I went for my jog. I decided to not go as far as the Mall, but I did get my 4 mile jog in all the same.
I ran 6 miles easy, but I ended up running faster than I usually do at an altitude about 4000 feet higher than what I'm used to. Maybe my perception of effort was off today.

Same here. Gotta live up to my name.
8 this morning with my dad. Coffee and brunch at home with family, nap, then another 4-5 before dinner with family. Life is good.
Yes. 4 or 5 easy at 8:30 pace.
Just a day on the training calendar just like any other day. 16 miles easy for a medium long run
I make zero money from running. I run because I love to run. Why wouldn't I do something I love on what is supposed to be one of the happiest days of the year?
Update: My 12-year-old niece asked to join me, so I decided to turn it into a tempo run. She hung with me for the first two miles, but I threw in a hard surge up a hill and dropped her with a mile to go.
I ran to today in my Brooks Ghost 16s Run Merry shoe. It's been awhile since I've enjoyed running in a Ghost shoe and I do enjoy running in this version.
Of course. Why wouldn't someone run on Christmas?

This question is directed to the minority here who actually run. Usually I've been taking a day off for Christmas, but I think I'll run tomorrow since I have a Febuary half marathon that I want to keep up weekly mileage for and it'll only take like an hour, and that really isn't bad.
Sure did. 6 lonely miles in the NW suburbs of Chicago at 8 a.m. My enemies don't rest, so neither shall I! haha
Happy holidays, you crazies!
Training for a January marathon. Long run of 20.1 miles this morning, then ate a good meal and had some good family time.
ran 10, felt great, did strides. the best christmas always has a run.
TT’d a 5k on the track for a 7 second personal best.
Drove to my parents place with my girlfriend immediately after for 8 hours. Christmas week is filled with a wedding as well.
