He's a pure marathon runner with no credentials on the track or the half marathon. He started his marathon career in China in 2017 with a 2:17:57 and then year by year knocked a couple of minutes off his time. His time of 2:11:35 in Lagos in 2020 was better intrinsically than his 2019 time of 2:10:47 in Nagano Japan.
