Less than 5 minutes into the women’s race and they’ve already cut to the wheelchair. The announcers are annoying already . 6:20 first mile ! It’s uphill but wow that’s slow .
My train is about to pull into nyc. How sad is it that I’ve muted the broadcast as I just don’t want to hear them talk about wheelchairs for 30 minutes? How about a first mile split instead? It also blows my mind how few of the elites they had at the press event.

We're so spoiled after that amazing peacock olympics coverage. I have ESPN 2 and Euro2 streams up and neither have shown jacksh*t. Euro2 has been on wheelchair for the past 30mins and ESPN 2 is all commercials. Just awful all around.

Predicting 30 seconds PRs for both of them on a tough course 12 weeks after the Olympic Marathon is fairly ambitious.
History will show you that just about everyone that tries to run NYC after an Olympics or World Championships either underperforms or DNFs. Especially for Americans, its usually just a money grab for the appearance fee.
