ND has a pretty good spread 1-5 at 6k. 1 second. NAU still ahead.

jeeezus TT imploded! hahaha
ND putting the moves on NAU, who only has a 5 point lead (60-65) at 6k.
Gonna be fun in the final 2k
At 6K ND's runners are 11-12-13-14-15. And they all have blue passports (Apologies for the snark, but the NCAA has become the INTERnational Collegiate Athletic Association)
wow, Texas Tech Freshman Ernest Cheruiyot with over a second! Except for the top 2 Texas Tech fell off hard. They need Solomon Kipchoge for more depth.
NAU and ND for a great close battle!
Notre Dame is gonna pack up and get a podium at nationals I guess. Just one of those years
ND top 5 are running 11-12-13-14-15 at 6k.
wow
16:42 at 6k for the Kenyans

Highly touted Allie Zealand (running for mom at Liberty) ran well in 16th, as a true frosh.
and she did it by finishing strong too. went from 29th at 3K to 16th at the finish. promising. meanwhile I see Rachel Forsyth doing Rachel Forsyth things still. charging out at 5:05 for the first mile with the lead runners then fading in the end. hopefully she builds strength after a long summer over the course of the season and finally gets a better grasp on her pacing. would love to see her succeed on the college level.
Is course short? Those are insane 8K times for college
DAMN! 22:20 for the win by TT freshman.
ND really held that pack well to close and win. 8-10-11-12-14.

From nation catholic most people I know had watches at about 5.04. But it’s perfect weather and great competition
ND Men have done it! Running together just like the 2021 NCAAs. A beautiful race. Expect great things!!
ND for the win! And damn - 22:20 for 8k for that Kenyan frosh.

its just a joke of a course. 22:20? 17 guys under 23?
Great debut for Drew Griffith as ND's 4th man in 12th. First Frosh... er, except for the Kenyans that went 1-2-3

Top 7 were 3 sophomores, 1 freshman, 1 senior, 1 sophomore, 1 senior.
This team is going to be something to deal with for a while.
That's basically NAU's scoring team this year minus Prosser presumably just running a workout considering he dropped out before the finish? Might be rough at nationals.
On the bright side, Keyes looking like he's going to have a great year, and Perez coming up big for a true freshman. Future is bright next year.
ND with a solid win, NAU ran well though a few of them lost spots in the last 2K which cost them the victory. very unlike them, they usually hold their positions or move up.
true freshman Manny Perez looks like the real deal, he's run every race this season and has run in the top groups for all of them.

Do we know how old those "freshman" are? I'm not against people running in the NCAAs in their mid-20s, but let's not call them freshmen.

World Athletics has no birth date for him. Oh. Not important. He's a true freshman. Did his mission in Eldoret. Has six more years of eligibility... International Collegiate Athletic Association is a joke. Money talks.
