CBA almost shuts out the field today as 2-5 clearly running together all run 15:55(3 at 15;54) or better and CR goes down again with Barrett at 15:35. Only 3 guys in field all in Group 4 led by Luke Pash ran better than 15:55. Unreal stuff really. They go 1-7 in Par A.
All 7 of them were together at 2 miles. The top 5 went under 15:56. 7th was 16:22. They averaged 15:50. We couldn't believe what we were seeing.
This CBA team is the greatest in US History! They should be ranked #1 in the country, as nobody else could do what they are doing on these super difficult courses.
Herriman is still better. They are better than Niwot atm.

This is a stretch...Herriman is beyond good, I hope it is the match up all hope for .

Not as much volume as many might think , certainly not as much as some of the other factory programs. Sean McCafferty was really good as the Coach at Holmdel before taking CBA position. He now knows the formula without back breaking mileage etc. All their all out performances this year have been great not good. Bowdoin, Manhattan, Shore Conf and Groups.
McCarthy has done a fantastic job since taking over at CBA, keeping the train rolling. The one thing he needs to do it get it right at NXN. Maybe this year with the week break between Regional and Nationals is just the thing they need

This is why Mike McCarthy is going to be fired for Bill Belichick. He has been splitting time between the Cowboys and CBA. He might not be a great football coach, but you have to admire his ability to coach football and cross country at the same time.
A team that can average 15:42 at Holmdel is definitely the favorite at NXN this year. Only the best Newbury Park teams could have gone faster. Herriman is quite good, but not 2024 CBA good. Wow.
