Since everyone calls people toxic for calling Sifan out, the best thing we can do is ignore her. No frothing at the mouth, no black page, no nothing, just ignore it.
WOW, 2 bronzes on the track and then a GOLD to cap off the games.
For all of the people on here that say Hassan is dirty - I don't think she is, but I don't even care. What she just did is crazy impressive even if she was juiced to the gills. The best we have in the US could not medal in any of these 3 events. No Cranny. No Schweizer. No Valby. No Sisson. She medaled in all freakin' 3. I can't believe she pulled that off! I thought she was nuts when she announced that line-up. Has anyone ever done anything like this with this kind of difficulty level. Who cares if she is juiced (I don't believe that she is).
Can you explain WHY you think she's clean?
She's an athlete who did, as you admitted, something no one else could do. Why do you think she did it clean?

Because of her slow progress.
All what she did s logic within who she is and her bodily capacity, as we have seen it from the moment she started running at the age of 15 in The Netherlands. It's a plain clean and straight line (not saying the line is only up).
Don't forget that when she started young she was as amazing as now! That did not change (of course other level). The level changed very slowly and has grown into a normal progression. Because of the right professional training, the right professional coaching, professional support, good food and she has grown enormously as a person, which is mentally a big aspect for winning etc.
The question is rather; when will Sifan peak, because not only because of shoes and other techs, there is still progress to be found in her performances.
I assume it lays in getting rid of stress, in the mental, the obstructive part, she seems bothered by dualism. She has to get rid of that soon as long as her body can handle the endurance of training on top level. And than there is more knowledge needed concerning how food is grown and processed, what it does to an athlete, science is just at the beginning of this knowledge.
This Isn't the tour de France. You can't sneak saline into the testing lab. There's no way around it she's going to get tested after each medal. And she's going to pass all three cuz she's clean... Jealous losers.
Everyone loves to bring up Lance Armstrong. Like how it's so easy to beat testing. that was almost 20 years ago. And that wasn't the Olympics, they don't allow your coach to smuggle in saline in the Olympics.
Yeah maybe you could argue for one test you could have some crazy scheme orchestrated but for three tests in a row. Keep dreaming. She's the greatest. She's been tested for years at competitions much more stringent than Lance Armstrong ever faced.
I mean they're not a bunch of bozos they would pop her if she was cheating
But these people are a bunch of bozos. Severely underfunded compared to the dopers.

Not true. She is the only woman to do it. Some men have previously..could she not just be great like Phelps and Bolt?

For one, she trains in Utah which is able to be tested relatively easily (though I'm not sure if USADA would do collections for the Netherlands' doping agency). It's not like she's out somewhere in rural northern / central Alaska, where it'd take a ton of time and resources to target her, or in rural Kenya
Thing I love about Hassan is that she really just seems to enjoy racing. She wants to win of course, but never seems too gutted when she comes up short. She's won her golds, but she's also taken lesser medals or not even medaled in various events and global championships, yet keeps on plugging. She really appears to know how rare it is to be able to make a living as a track and field athlete and cherishes that she gets to do it. She's a good interview too.

I do not have strong thoughts about it either way. I just don't think it is good to sling doping accusations at everyone who does something outstanding in track, which seem to be the case now. there have been a lot of baseless accusations about various athletes this week and over the past few years with the only real evidence being that they are running well. She would have been tested a bunch this week, so I guess with no proof I don't see why she is assumed guilty. She seems very eccentric, and maybe she just did something crazy. It's not like she hammered the 5K or the 10K.
