Stop thinking of DUKE LACROSSE as a group of rich, spoiled racists who like to harrass/rape women.
These atrocious actions were done by a number of individuals, it is unfair to condemn people on the team who had absolutely nothing to do with what occurred. I'm sure some of them are rich, spoiled racists, but if you generalize everyone on the team like that, well in my book you're not much better than them.
Is it worse for a woman to be raped, or a man to be unfairly accused, or worse condemned for it? At least the woman will be pitied, the man will be ostracized for life.
if the case stays in durham county, they won't have trouble convicting those lilly white boys. those young ladies will be the ones with a jury of their respective racial peers.

It is possible for doctors to find indicators that the intercourse was not consensual such as vaginal tears. I'm assuming if the rumors of bruising around the neck and other areas this could also be used to indicate something may have happened.

Can someone explain to me why when a white person attacks a black person it is "racial violence" and is all over the newspapers but when a black attacks a white it is never "racially motivated" nor does it ever make the papers?

I find it funny that the people who always accuse people of color of playing victim seem so eager to do so. I'm from NYC, when we have racially motivated violence here, it is labeled as such regardless of the race of attackers and victims. The key is that the motive in the attack apparently be race.
Of course all rapes are not created equal, neither are all kidnappings (ever hear of a missing black girl getting the type of attention Natalee Holloway recieve), every muder victim or school shooting.
The defense attorneys have denied any sexual contact and numerous player's e-mails seem to confirm this. Evidently, the victim had another one one one "date" before the party - perhaps this is where sexual contact took place. The ladies tried to leave with the $800 after only performing 3 minutes and there is video to prove it. The guys were furious that they got ripped off, but according to them there was no sex. If you don't live in Durham, you don't understand the political motivation behind the DA's statements. He gave 70 interviews in a week stating his "opinions" in an incredibly unprofessional manner. He is in a fierce battle for office and using this case for political reasons. He has stated he will personally handle this case - even though he has not personally handled a case for over 5 years. (If you realize how many violent crimes happen in Durham, this is a little strange.) Now that it appears the DNA evidence may not be there, he has refused interviews and is backtracking on the notion that DNA evidence will be present.

Yes, I can answer the question of this thread now. Yes, I actually do feel bad for most of the players on the team who are now truly victims. Not for some, but for the vast majority. The kids who were playing for a national title, who dedicated themselves to a sport at the highest level, and saw it ripped from them by the unforgiving hand of an evil political correctness.
I feel really bad that they were caught up in this retchid Tawana Brawley style fraud to placate the community activists.
I hope the innocent lacrosse players can get their careers and reputations restored, somehow.
Yes, I do feel bad. Because if reports are correct there is no DNA match to the Duke players. So, possibly, a whole team has been tarnished for no reason.
