Just keep dating, there are a lot of bad fish in the sea. If you are genuine and good hearted, and have a good career ahead of you, that is generally all you need once past 20ish. The gals want security and a dude that's bona fide. (cue- "he's a suiter"). I dated for 20years, some one date some 2 some a few months. No sense wasting time, move on to the next one. The older I got and more I brought to the table, I can tell you my success rate skyrocketed. Despite what the PC crowd tells you, my skinnny average looks bagged a lot of 8/9s as I got more and more successful. Also, as someone suggested, being in shape also starts to bubble to the top of the priority list for the ladies as you get older. If you look like 230 lbs of chewed bubblegum at 20, they know where that's going.
