1. Jacob's wife is a social media personality/influencer so if she posts something, there will be feedback on it. Feedback includes criticism.
Because she is an influencer, there has likely been demand for content and/or an explanation of why there has been a lapse.
Lol so you think that because she's an influencer, her followers have been clamoring to ask her why she hasn't posted any new content since...4 days ago? And that because of that, she felt she needed to post a video covering a very sensitive issue involving her husband?
Please don't take this personally, but how old are you? You don't seem to have a strong grasp on the dynamics of social media in the modern age.

Did you read the article that started this thread? I'm quoting the translated version, but just for context:
"The 24-year-old is said to have taken a break from social media after the birth, and the otherwise active new mother has only posted a few photos after her daughter was born. The video that came on Wednesday is therefore something of the rare variety these days."
Good timing to instigate change? What a terrible response. No, this is the WORST timing imaginable. Nothing will change because this is not the way to handle it. This is a way to strain a relationship and put unnecessary pressure on the bread winner.
You aren't seeing the big picture. I'm thinking outside of just Jakob's upcoming performance at the Olympics. I'm thinking outside of their relationship. I'm talking about improving overall athlete support in professional sports.
A few months ago in March at the world indoor a brilliant and gifted athlete by the name of Josh Kerr ran the fastest final 200m in the last 10 or even 20 years for any event from 800m-10000m on the track of a fast enough 3000m race, 25.19s to be more specific and in lane 2 for at least half of it.
Again I do repeat, this was a few months ago, not a few years or decades ago!!!!!!!!!!!
Then this fickle board goes on to claim Kerr needed to have ran 25.19, or otherwise implied, so very recently like perhaps yesterday, last week or at minimum 1 month ago for it to factor into his winning peak shape and form he should be in for Paris Olympics next month.
This fickle board is so fickle, so impatient, so short-fused, so lacking in long-sufferance and faith that they get all itchy and agitated at 4 months between March and July 2024 as if they were 4 years or 4 decades!!!!!!!!!
Well, who in the last 10 or even 20 years (way more than 4 months) has closed a final 200m at any distance event from 800m to 10000m on the track, supershoes or no supershoes, in 25.19s with half of it in lane 2 out wide?????????
Does everybody on this board know how damn fast is 25.19s in lane 2 for half of it?????? If I need to be objective I can and will be, dun test it!!!
If my man Josh Kerr of GB needs to be lethal, he will mark my words folks. He is lethal on a 'needs basis', only if he needs to and that's the beauty of Josh Kerr's poison/sting. Jakob WILL LOSE the 1500m sadly this way......foregone conclusion folks......
jakob ran a 25.4 out of lane 2 in a 3:34 race, while waving his arms at the crowd. 3:34 in the 1500 is slightly more impressive than a 7:42 3000.
Fair enough sir, I checked again and it was 25.44 and Jakob did run out wide the final 200m in the semi finals in Budapest. But remember it was 400m oval not a tight centripetal indoor 200m oval right sir????
It's much easier to sprint on a 400m flat oval than a smaller, tighter and banked centripetal oval and everybody knows that for a fact. So if I were to have a fair comparison between Josh Kerr's 25.19s and Jakob's 25.44 one, I need convert Josh Kerr's to an outdoor oval which would easily be like what? <24.5??? Let me know how fast it should be but it's definitely significantly under 25 seconds for sure. I wanna know what you think sir....
For Jakob's arm waving antics he deserves an extra 0.3s is that fair??? 25.1s????
And what about Nuguse who ran 25.3 if I'm not wrong in indoors behind Kerr for the final 200m, Nuguse would be a better closer than Jakob as well except for his sissy looking armswing.
3:34 is very slow 1500m of course, and so is 7:42. But you miss one thing sir, it's easier to close a faster velocity race like the 1500m in a 25.x final 200m than it is a slower velocity race like the 3000m at same 25.x, you feeling me???? The difference between 1500m race speeds which is around 28s 200m speed compared to 3000m race speeds which is around 30-31 second 200m speed means to drop from 30-31 to 25.x final 200m is much more forceful hence difficult to achieve than to drop from 28s to 25.x final 200m right????
Of course the reason why Josh Kerr can drop from 30-31 to 25.x final 200m is because he is a mile specialist in the first place so no surprises there but the main thing is there is much more resistance to do so compared to the 1500m event. Since Josh Kerr can handle 'more resistance' than Jakob it would mean Josh Kerr can handle more unsteady changes in speed in any race.
So advantage goes to Josh Kerr for the Paris gold again!

She's been posting content regularly since giving birth still, including a tiktok video just 4 days before she posted the crying one. And no one is commenting on her videos wondering why there has been a "lapse".

You are both blind morons. Stop taking this video and blowing it out of proportion. She is simply stating that life has gotten harder for her which is why she hasn't been posting much, she misses her old influencer life, and misses Jakob. She then ends by saying she can't wait to see him in 4 weeks time. My god you people are weird. Is it a little weird to post this on social media? Maybe. But this isn't some awful terrible thing for Jakob right before the olympics. He just ran 3:26 he is doing ok.

Nope, from my divine and ultimate understanding of the laws of Physics and the Universe, Jakob Ingebrigtsen will win, because Jesus Christ our divine universe overlord granted it and it would defy all laws of Physics if he lost.

I think it's the opposite. longer slower races offer opportunity for a faster kick. and indoor tracks aren't any slower than outdoor. especially at such relatively pedestrian speeds.
the other thing is that Nuguse doing it along with Kerr actually downgrades the performance. Nuguse is top 3 world over the past 2 years, but he is not know as a kicker.
outside of this race, the evidence would show that Jakob is a better closer.
Another race to chew on. Jakob closed in 25.8 in a 7:23 3000. imagine how fast he could have been if the race was 19 seconds slower.
And about the dropping from 31to 25, if you go back and watch that race, you will see that Kerr started to ramp up some meters before the start of the last lap, so he was already at speed to start that segment. in fact, i think the penultimate lap was something like 27.4.
I don't know what will happen in Paris, but I am beyond excited for it. As im sure Elisabeth Asserson Ingebrigtsen is as well!

Are you alright sir!!!!!!! The most incoherent and out of nature (your nature) post I have ever seen from you. Since I have read all your posts before this and know the type of content and semantics you use, your using and writing 'law of physics and universe', 'divine understanding, Jesus Christ' seems uncharacteristic of you and your nature hence can only be incoherent and drunk from you??????
On the contrary, if I used such semantics in all my posts and comments, but I have been using it since day 1 when I joined the forum as Christian and RF expert so it's rightfully part of my nature and morality and fits well with me consistently.
I suggest you stick to you and argue about Jakob using your own type of semantics and linguistics and not imitate mine because you don't know how to orchestrate it into seamless reasoning and persuasion.
And no, Jakob is not winning Paris Gold btw, I apologize to you for that.

It was Barega who was the one who ramped up from 3-4 laps out I think, Kerr was just sitting on him mostly. I think before that 27.4s it was slower at around 29-30 and slower still before the final 3-4 laps. The guys didn't go from 30-31 to 27/25 using any more than 2-3 laps in between, it's not like they needed 10 laps to gradually drop from 30-31 to 27/25 right??? So Kerr especially still demonstrated ability to handle 'resistance' or change of speed superbly well, and I'm sure it's better than Jakob's.
Jakob's 7:23 3k in 25.8 is still aeons away from Josh Kerr's equivalent 24.5 and under 200m right??? How can indoor tracks not be slower??? Do you know how bad and unresponsive wooden plank boards are compared to elastic bouncy doped track 400m ovals????? And do you know how much dissonance hence energy loss occur between wooden plank boards and super elastic bouncy shoes that step on and run over it??? The wooden plank boards are such defamatory and disparaging of the super elastic bouncy shoes and slowing them down as compared to on top of bouncy elastic 400m ovals outdoor which RESONATES (RESONANCE) with the super elastic bouncy shoes right??? Bouncy and bouncy go hand in hand and help with one another. My explanations are always RF Physics inspired so always the most reliable and accurate. So I don't think your view holds but it's fine because I know how hard you want Jakob to win lol!!!! It's okay to be irrational I mean.
If Jakob ran a 7:42 race outdoors he sure isn't closing in 24.5 and under like Josh Kerr's equivalent outdoor time, I'm sure of it. It's not a linear or even exponential correlation, it's more like a tangent (meaning tan(x)) correlation where a 19 second slower 3000m race result leads to barely visible improvement in final 200m finish speed. Take a look at a tan(x) graph pls, you will know what I mean. I reckon around the ballpark of 25.1-25.2 as it takes an enormous amount of strain and tension just to increase speed from 25.8 to 25.1 already and that will be provided for by the energy conserved from running 19 seconds slower 3000m race.
Nuguse not known as a kicker??? Are you serious??? Nuguse is a known kicker in the entire 2023 and early 2024 and only got suddenly forgotten as a kicker because that obvious cheater Cole H absolutely smashed him at olympic trials in the 1500m and stole some reputation from him. Otherwise Nuguse is still America's best CLEAN KICKER!!!!! Nuguse would be an equivalent sub 25s kicker on the outdoor 400m oval as well. So Jakob is inferior to both a clean Nuguse and Kerr.
Josh Kerr for the win I say, GB takes all!!!

Elle St Pierre didn't post a whiney, blubbering video shortly after having Ivan talking about how hard it is and how much she missed running.
You know women are individual humans, right? We all process emotions differently and communicate in different ways. And actually, if you have been paying any attention at all, Elle has expressed plenty of the stress she has been going through.
On a positive note, Elle just received a grant from &Mother (Alysia Montano's organization) so that she can bring Ivan with her to Paris. And she did cry (tears of relief/happiness) on the IG story when they told her.
Does & Mother know that Elle makes hundreds of thousands of dollars per year? I know every bit helps but I just find it weird we have so many incentives in all walks of life for the top 1% - whether it's stadiums for billionaire owners, lottery funding for Mo Farah or this. It just seems to me that many benefits in life should be income capped.

This isn't the only work they are doing and it's a relatively new organization. This is something visible that they can do in the meantime. I do think there needs to be some more information on their website. Maybe you could interview Alysia Montaño?
Something else they did was provide a lactation space at Hayward Field during the trials. I talked with them quite a bit while I was there venting my frustrations over the accessibility issues at the stadium, plus the struggle of finding childcare while traveling to events like this. They've been pushing to get a childcare space at Hayward (and other stadiums, marathons, etc)., which would also be available to athletes, and perhaps even other staff such as coaches, agents, and media members. Even if it wasn't free, it would be one less thing for parents to have to stress about and plan.

Dang, y’all are some judgmental people! Not to mention those of you who are obviously crazy and misogynistic. I hope you do not procreate.
A healthier discussion would include talking about supporting the couple, rather than making it men against women. It's better when parents work together.

I thought of more things to say.
Tell me you are a sad single white man without telling me you are a sad single white man.
It is hard AF to be a new parent and they are really young too. And if you think this is hard for Jakob, think about all the mom athletes who can't exactly go away from their families to train. We can go in circles all day debating the sexism of it all, or we could actually come up with some solutions. There really needs to be more support for the immediate family members of these athletes, especially when very young children are involved.
Sexism? Why do other people need to come up with solutions for something that’s YOUR responsibility? YOU are the one who chose to have twins, and that makes YOU responsible for their care, and that’s going to come with sacrifice. If you wanted to keep running the way you did before you had children, you should’ve thought of that before having them.

I think you are confused by what I wrote. I was replying to comment "Tell me you are a sad single white man...." What I meant was that comments like this are not helpful, that we shouldn't "go in circles all day debating the sexism" because it's not just a women's issue. Men are parents too.
We must be missing something. Having a child is beautiful, I was so beyond happy when I had my first. Yes, I cried, but it was a happy cry. Let's hope this is the case for her as well. Hoping this was an out of context post.

You replied to the wrong post darling. I was debating about all things central to GB and Josh Kerr winning Paris Olympic Gold in the 1500m, not about misogyny or men against women or good parenting.
You knocked on the wrong door, I think you are referring to Stephanie instead?????? She was talking about, if I'm not wrong, something about athlete parents being diadvantaged financially, emotionally, mentally.
