As a general point, linking "coach/agent " in terms of knowledge of and facilitating in an athlete's doping intake or indeed doping violation seems to me worth looking at. Yes no doubt there ARE coaches and, separately, agents who liaise in cheating but surely also many agents who experience a net financial loss when one of their clients gets busted and serves a ban. I'm aware mostaza manages or has managed various banned athletes over some 30 years. My guess is that when he took on katir he saw both great talent and a trajectory that he knew would raise eyebrows. In most cases an elite athlete's agent will have a very different level of contact with that athlete compared to the coach.
I'd be interested to know how such things are structured. Because it seems like some agents dope their boys up like they're earning on contingency/commission and a positive test is just the cost of doing business for them. I don't see how Nike would care, there's always a layer of separation between them and the athletes via the agent/coach. Pretty sure Rosa has had some high profile positives and his athletes used to get unique (albeit lower profile) kits like the other "cleaner" groups.
I don't even remember the name of that American 800 runner from some years back who got into a jam when he left Nike. But I remember we did get to see what a pro contract looks like.
