Their efforts fail in this, yet they do succeed in displaying their pathetic personalities. This is mainly one poster who has many previous anger issues and can’t take anyone calling him out on his extreme lack of likability.

Tuohy did withdraw from the 5000m race, her third race of the weekend, after a disappointing finish in her second. Valby skipped indoor nationals in 2023, and didn't race the pros at the Track Festival last May.

All my original post pointed out is that Valby has not beaten Tuohy head to head in the 5000m. It is an interesting fact considering how much of a headliner Valby is this year! You're the one who wants to put qualifiers on it. I'm sure she'll get another shot at it in the future, possibly later this month.
Not racing is not racing, Valby was injured for indoor nats and quite reasonably didn't race the track festival and skipped USATF Nats to make sure she was ready to go after 5 individual titles this school year. Obviously, her choices are working out for her, but Tuohy withdrawing from one race doesn't mean she was hiding from Valby. She quite willingly went to get beat twice during the cross country season, even on a day she knew she wasn't 100 percent. Neither of them are ducking the other, they are just looking out for their own interests, and the best we can do is take both women (or their coaches) at their word when they make a statement about them publicly.
