Imagine how good she’d be if she had a baby and breast fed a bit.
ESP better than ever post baby, and the of course there’s Kipyegon the goat of post baby runners. If Hassan has a baby she might break 2:10 in the marathon….

Probably. Seems like it can go either way though, pending what happens during pregnancy, birth and afterwards. Can either make a woman a lot weaker, or a lot stronger. Some women have total nightmares - during and after. Mental and physical torture..through no fault of their own - just bad luck and how the baby is positioned. Some sail through and are better than ever.

She was pretty great before her pregnancy. Remember her 3:58 at the trials smoking everyone else?

Remember Tsegay's 3:53? Yeah, me too, pretty hard to outkick a 3:53 1500 runner and then do so by running the entire final lap in lane 2. INDOOR.
She was NCAA mile champion when "overweight." She then leaned out and now she has baby hormones, better spikes, more motivation to get back to where she belongs. She also a previous medalist in the event.
Actually, what I can believe mostly is the East Africans didn't take her seriously in the race.

This. She was incredibly good when she was really double the weight of most of her competitors. It signaled huge talent. They all had to be anorexic to compete. The times she was running when she was really quite heavy for a mid-to-distance runner were impressive. Carrying a tonne of extra luggage compared to the others. Muir was the same.
