I like legal marijuana. I enjoy it regularly. Adults should be able to decide what plants they want to ingest. I find it hard to believe that this is still a debate.
I wake up early and take my kid to daycare. Then I work a white-collar job on matters that would make most peoples' eyes roll into the back of their heads after five minutes. Most of my day is spent staring at a computer, which is mentally taxing. Then I spend most of the evening with my kid and will either do bedtime or make dinner for my wife and I, depending on whose turn it is. After my kid goes to sleep, I often pop an edible and do a workout. By the end of my workout the edible has kicked in and I feel mentally refreshed. I practice my guitar, I hang out/read with my wife, and then I go to bed.
It's really bizarre to me that people feel like it is their responsibility to prevent me from eating the gummy. I'm not hurting anyone. I'm not impaired. It's a nice addition to my evening. I understand some people may be put off by the smell of burnt cannabis, but I don't think that should take precedence over basic personal freedoms. Unless you are right next to an industrial grow operation, the smell typically wafts away after a few seconds.
