Oh please. This is another laughably obvious doper, a fraud, a cheater, a liar, a person who has no self-respect and poisons herself for peanuts, calculating that this will set her up for life in her country. In other words, an "elite" Kenyan distance runner. And every time there is the pathetic "explanation" from the usual apologists and denialists, undertrained, multi-sport, late bloomer, hyper-responder, culture of running (ie, culture of cheating), or my personal favorite, the "East African running gene". Almost as good as East Germany's clean living explanation. Just a few months back Kenya's No. 2 female junior runner, who was second at the recent world juniors 1500m, losing to an even more obvious cheater from Ethiopia, was banned. They are doping teenagers to win a few pennies to universal indifference.
Face it, but this is a sport fatally compromised by PEDs, where the PED enhanced performances are easy to spot but hard to prove. The general public thinks the sport is trash and simply does not care. Who can even name the last Boston marathon winners other than the diehards on here? That is what fascinates me. With cycling you were at least protecting a major money making enterprise, the golden goose, when you denied doping. Here you are protecting what exactly, a third rate sport that no one really cares about anymore. Odd.
