NYC has a dedicated sub-elite corral that leads off from the lower bridge location or at least that was what happened the year I ran NYC. But with that few women on the start line why not combine/give OTQ hopefuls clear running with the elite women.
I count 4 Americans invited in the women's field & American only prize money goes 5 deep. Smh. So they're just going to pocket the $3k for 5th? It's a drop in the bucket for them -- give someone a chance to have a small pay day.
