Curtis Dickey was a great sprinter a 9,2 cat, he would dust both Hill/Rocket at any distance but out on a football field he never looked like the speedster he was, he just didn't have.....it.
Reminds me of something my college roommate told me... he was a starting o-lineman for all four years, captain his senior year, and a smart guy. I was a distance runner (xc, track) and asked him why our running back, who was also a very solid sprinter in track, wasn't more effective on the football field. My roommate sagely explained, "there's a difference between running a 4.2 and playing at a 4.2."
