Josh should play smart and avoid Jakob until Paris which , lets be honest, is the next meaningful race. He needs to stay in Jakobs head until then . Lose to him at Eugene and he loses that edge .

He already proved he's superior by beating him when it most mattered this year. That's what the WC were for, to see who is the best of the best. Jakob beating him in some paced race means very little. But if you define superiotity based on fast times or number of wins in regular races, sure Jakob is better.
Yeah that's pretty much how superiority is defined by everyone . Just because the 16 min 5k runner gets sick on race day and loses to the 20 min 5k runner does not mean the 20 min 5k runner is better.

Jakob is so much better, much better PR, more dynamic range, races and puts it out there more, etc. kerr is one of several guys who are good enough to beat him on one off after Jakobs done the work for them. I remember when people were chatting this stuff about Wightman last year lol. At least Kerrs cocky enough in personality to help a rivalry develop, but it won’t happen cause he simply can’t race as much as Jakob does. He’s weaker.

Ive never met anyone who believes Kerr is even as good as Jakob, let alone better. Ingebrigtsen is on his own level. Still, Kerr is a great runner at 15/mile. This is inarguable.
