She is only non friendly on race days. Sydney was at Mt SAC Relays this year just hanging out near where I was and a lot of people talked to her and she was very friendly. She didn't even need to be there but she drove an hour from her house just to say hi to her fans.
She just has massive race anxiety on race days, that's all. Outside of race days she's actually very nice.

It is quite obvious that she runs her races on pure hate she wouldn’t be able to achieve her results without pure hate. She is still recovering from the massive amount of pure hate she has to use during her post race interviews.
Bad idea talking to any athlete right after a performances. Need to dump that along with giving flowers to winners they do not want them.

My wife and I have an ongoing joke where we pretend to be the poor meet worker giving out flowers:
