I agree. The easiest way is to upload on Linkedin or Instagram and link the pic(s). However, with those accounts you can control who sees it. As someone who works in tech and tech policy, I analyze current and potential issues that can occur with digital tech and AI. Once those pics are released to the public, who knows what can happen with them or how they are used. Many high-profile people have gone to great efforts to keep their kids out of the media for this reason.

Being in PE has little to nothing to do with age, as associates can be as young as 23 to 26 years old. I deal with these associates trying to pitch me and my partner to consider an acquisition of our company quite frequently, and typically they are recently out of undergraduate.

If she took his last name, then she may have bugged me and my partner recently as an acquisition opportunity. Of course, that's assuming her PE firm acquires SaaS companies, and Johnson is about as common of a last name in the US as Patel is in India.

In all seriousness, back to the first point, saying because someone is in PE they're not young is extremely naïve. I don't mean that rudely, I just mean that as unless you know what role they are operating in, they could be in business development or be an associate. Another example, just like being at a law firm doesn't mean you're a partner...
