The NAACP's headquarters are in Baltimore which is statistically one of the most dangerous cities for black people. Why don't they issue a travel advisory to there?

So by issuing a "Travel Ban" to a state that is hosting a national track and field event, which arguable is the MOST diversified and inclusive sport in the U.S. and the world, you think this will solve racism? A sport which promotes sportsmanship, teamwork, and UNITY among all participants is now being weaponized and used to further divide people. How is this helping people of color? or any other person for that matter.
Yeah, take away something that a young person has worked hard at through countless hours of training and competition which teaches discipline, accountability, and inclusiveness at all levels...sounds like a great plan!
I respect the NAACP and it's cause, but now I question their motive and true mission which seems to further diversify and instigate hate and racism.

Chicago is 29% black. Walter Payton College Preparatory High School is 9% black. The student body is instructed not to leave campus.

The people carrying around guns think they are Navy SEALS but most decidedly are not. They are not trained marksman, they fail to understand how hard it is to hit a target in real life, and they have a heartrate going through the roof at the time they fire. Imagine if there was some serious altercation and Ted Cruz showed up with a gun? 70% chance he would hit the wrong person by mistake.

Those zip codes are still majority white, and 90%+ of the students in those schools are White, Asian, or Hispanic with the exception of Whitney which is 17% Black (where Blacks make up over 23% of the school-age population within that zip code).

Because they don't reduce and pass laws to restrict your voice, views, books, diversity, equity and inclusion. That is why.
Why is it that the majority of prejudiced folks on here have a hard on for Baltimore or Chicago whenever anything mentioned on letsrun is black? No matter the topic, if anything black is remotely involved, that's is your go-to, your North Star, your retort to anything black.....what about Chicago and Baltimore.
However never mention that percentage wise and raw data wise that whites die from firearms more than blacks overall. Mostly from suicides. Not to mention all the drug overdoses by white people. It is whites that will no longer be the majority in a few decades....and it scares you to death that you won't be the majority and you are trying your best to be in control of everything.
Your white fragility grows daily, as you repeatedly deflect to saying Chicago or immigrants, the border, criminals and attempt to disparage anything that doesn't show white people's past or present in a positive light. Maybe we wouldn't have these so called issues real or imagined, if you would have followed the Golden Rule from day one. Treat others the way YOU want to be treated.

This isn't new for the NAACP. They have issued warnings before when racist ass governors and repubs pass BS racist laws and policies.
Black people have been warning each other for centuries about overt BS is certain locations. We warned each other about sundown towns and counties if you knew people were traveling there.
All the down votes from white folks who actually think they know what black people have been saying to each other for centuries. Like you white guys know about the history of woke and what black people warned each other about. We warned each other about the sundown towns and the past and current racist local, county and state officials that locked up, beat or lynched people for centuries.
The disparagement today of the NAACP and all civil rights organizations is the same lies your parents, grandparents and great grandparents have said about black people forever.

Newsflash...black people have experienced overt racism in every state. Florida is passing laws stating that they don't care that they are racist. Seems like we are going back 50 years.
