I’m sorry, did you just put Herbert and Lawrence ahead of Rodgers and even a guy like Stafford? If those two young guys stay healthy they MIGHT have a career similar to Stafford. You’re putting a lot of weight on potential and not reality. They fit the current nfl qb mold, but the best don’t fit a mold.
I have respect for loyal fans, but Herbert is already better than Stafford ever was.
I’m no Stafford fan, but I don’t know how you can say that. He was impressive in a crappy situation in Detroit and then won a Super Bowl as soon as he left. Herbert is on a loaded team offensively and has already shown he falls short in big moments. If it were all about numbers Philip Rivers would be a sure-thing for the HoF, but he’s not.
Ravens have non-franchise tagged Lamar, basically saying: go get the monster contract you're looking for, cause were not paying you like that. This is a hiddeously bad look for Lamar. Reasons Lamar is too dumb:
1. Is acting as his own agent. Word is the NFLPA is guiding him. This is to help him save face. Their guy looks like an idiot trying to negotiate with an NFL team of professional execs and lawyers
2. Didnt even go to the Bengals/Ravens playoff wildcard game. Was hurt but didnt even go. Bad look, bad team guy
3. Asking for basically a fully guaranteed contract like Deshaun. Hes not Deshaun, and only the Browns were dumb (even dumber than Lamar) to pay Deshaun all that $
4. The Ravens created all the leverage in the world w/ this non-exclusive tag. In the meantime Lamar is going to get left out of the QB shuffle and look dumb for doing his own bidding.
Lamar fought the stigma of being labeled a dummy and a "running quarterback" coming out of Louisville, but finds himself right back in the same situation. Proven assclown.

When I saw the title of this thread and that it was started by Jamb innnnnnn, I was not surprised. Jamb innnnnnn is nothing more than and ignorant and obtuse chucklehead.
I agree. At age 26, he is a 2 time Pro Bowl QB. He has won NFL MVP only once. He cannot be successful.
And Lamar is possibly going to win a 2nd NFL MVP now.
He’s definitely having a solid season. Will be an interesting playoffs this year as every team has shown the capability to completely implode and lose to an inferior team.
