Think you all are looking into it too much. Based on the context, I thought it was clear she was saying Indoor was the last season (of the three seasons: XC, Indoor, Outdoor) where she has yet to get a title.
She meant that it was the last one she doesn't have yet. She is not leaving NCSU. Tuohy's NIL deal is not Adidas - Tuohy. It is Adidas - NC State - Tuohy. Anyone familiar on how schools get top football recruits? They are doing that game to Tuohy, to make sure she stays in NC State. Who knows just how much she is being paid. She's not going pro any time sooner, she's loaded.
Tuohy ran 4:24 early in the season, that shows she's on another level. She will only get better and faster. College competition will make her stagnate, Pro competition will make her better and faster.
agreed. It was good she chose the college route initially. It's better to run with people your age, and she loves her team and the atmosphere. But she'll be 21 in a month and at what point does it become bad for everyone that someone this dominant is in the NCAA? If she wins a title indoors, she should think about trying to qualify for the world champs this year and the olympics next, not winning more NCAA titles.

Plenty of other athletes will have the chance to win titles, and there is no guarantee anyway. Doubling is tough to do with the champ schedule for most events and she runs the 5k.
Eg she has the fastest mile time but the mile /5k or mile/3k double is really tough. So mile, 800m,1500m and 10k titles will be up for grabs .
Personally I would like to see her go for a 1500m title outdoors but I think it's unlikely.
