Those aren't history courses. Those are primarily language courses. I guess if you want to petition for an AP Arabic, AP Berber, AP Hausa, AP Bantu, AP Swahili, etc. language and culture courses, that would be equivalent to what you are basing your comparison. A lot of people in Africa speak French, English etc. as well, which are already covered. AP HIndi, AP Arabic and AP Portuguese would actually be good courses as they are the 4th, 5th and 6th most common spoken languages on the planet.

That is just what you imagine the class to be. In your mind is there any African American studies class that should be allowed as an elective? Should it be banned to learn about the holocaust as well? Even as an elective? What other things should the government be telling you to not learn about?
