If the point of this thread is implicitly homophobic about how emasculating it is for a man to wear another man's name on a jersey then keep in mind that it doesn't matter and you still show up in the stands to hero worship all these men and talk about them non-stop among your friends and watch them on a screen in all your free time. Whether you wear the jersey or not, these sports ball figures are going to be in your mind, speech, behaviors and that alone should reveal something to you about man to man admiration/fantasy and maybe the embedded desires you have in your seemingly "straight" being. Go ahead and wear the jersey or not - it makes no difference.
As a man that has never worn a jersey with the name of another man on it but has slept with a lot of men and really feel good about it - I suggest you question a bit deeper on this one.
