I am 43 and have been single since February and been going pretty wild, fortunately I live in an area with plenty hot women. Hooked up with probably 30 women since February ranging from 19 to 48 and I can honestly say that the women under 30 were just tough to relate to no matter how hot they were and it could never be much more than sex.
The 38 to 48 range has been great and right now I am consistent with the 48 year old(to be fair she is the hottest out of all of them and looks 35) and can say it is 100% better than the hot 20 something year olds.
If you are just looking for one night stands then any age but if you want something with substance Id so 35 or so should be your cut off but also know that with age comes experience so get yourself a single upper 30s mom who doesnt have much time so when she does have time she knows exactly what she wants(usually the D)

No. For most of human history, men (and women) DIED in their mid 30s, so no, they weren't getting married at that age. Typically, both men and women married very, very young. I'm sure a lot of men lost their wives to childbirth and remarried, but unless they were top honcho, not in their mid 30s. Think getting married at 14 and remarried at 20.
You are ignorant AF. People lived into their 60s and older for eons. It's only in "civilized" times that we started dying younger because of infectious disease vectors and then environmental toxins.
I can't think of many college aged cuties that would be attracted to a guy with salt and pepper hair unless you are on sugar daddy dot com, but let's be realistic about what their motivations are. Guess you need to be realistic about what your motivations are as well. If you are an adult, you will likely have more in common and find a better connection with a woman of a similar age +- 5 years.

I was going to say +/- 10 years, but while that may work okay for a 60 y.o., it would be a real stretch for a 35 y.o.

By that formula, a 35 y.o. would add up or down by 5 years, and a 60 year old would add or subtract 9 years.
I went on a speed dating event for singles between 35 and 45 (I lied I was 4 cause there was no over 45 group). I almost cried. I talked with 12 women and oh my God, my ppl are done! Eexcept one, they looked really old, out of shape, not attracted to any of them at all.
I am the definition of "black don't crack". I can easily pass for 30 to 35 on a good day. When I was 45, I dated a 42 year old woman, and some people thought she was my sugar mommy.
On the other hand, though I am physically attracted to younger women, I don't think I can handle them emotionally anymore. Last such experience is a 23 year old about 6 years ago, ...very bad experience...
Ideally, I would like to find someone 30 to 35, as I want to have kids before i turn 50. But the 30 to 35 year olds that are well educated, in good health/shape, and that I am both physically and emotionally attracted are mostly taken.

If I may, I will admit that I was thinking the age differential in the context of Marriage. But that was not the OP question. It is only for dating.

So, in light of the lower scrutiny paid for dating, as opposed to marriage, I would revise my percentage of your age to a larger number, and would think that could be as high as 29%. Thereby, you at 35 y.o. could date a 25 y.o. woman. And you at 60 y.o., could date a 43 year old woman.
Should I just stick to women in their 40s or should I go for college age cuties? I'm bald with salt and pepper hair if that's a factor. Also over 6'0 tall. Input from other singles welcome.
