How does Rupp do in NY

If you don't think you can finish in the top 5, maybe 10, drop out at 20, regroup, and register to run another race, and train for a top 5/10 finish.

I did say it was so. And it was even worse than that.

You did but to be honest the DNF preserves some level of respectability almost rather than finished behind those you mentioned (we know now that Ben didn't end up running). I wonder what comes out later about what happened bc Galen seemed to have life running nicely in that big pack and as soon as they started up the Queensboro and the pack split, he just immediately looked like the life had been sucked right out of him (very similar I believe to NYC Half in March going up the Manhattan Bridge).
