She is a decent TV race announcer, I like her work there, she knows her stuff. But maybe she's already talked talked talked talked enuff about Al Salazar?
And also both Goucher’s had their best performances by a lot under Salazar. Nothing fishy there.
You're high. Adam improved by a massive 1.25 seconds in the 5000. Kara got somewhat better but she was running 15:20s as a college sophomore and winning multiple NCAA titles.
Not sure why you insist on lying here. Kara didn’t run 15:20 until she was years old. Kara appears to have been a PED user. She did break 15:30 when she was almost 22. Was she only a sophomore at almost 22? Again she appears to be a PED user.
Kara improved DRAMATICALLY in her late 20s and early 30s. Very typical of a PED user. She should be careful when she points fingers because her progression was suspicious as hell.
I never stated anything to the contrary. The poster lied though and said she did that as a college sophomore. Some of you aren’t very bright. Once she got on Alberto’s program (and likely PEDs) then she jumped from 15:28 to 14:55. In her late 20s.
Inside the Secret World of Abuse, Doping, and Deception on Nike's Elite Running Team
I would be interested if she drops any previously unknown info about Nike teams and their involvement in doping
Yeah, I’m sure Kara has been sitting on undisclosed Nike doping info for the last decade but is finally going to drop it in this book. /s
Does no one understand that all of the NOP stuff is over? The truth is NEVER coming out. Nike washed its hands of the program, Salazar took the fall, and all of the athletes walked. And to think some people considered that a win for clean sport.
What are your thoughts on Jordan Hasay not doing well after Alberto had to leave NOP?
I want to know about the massages. Also know what if anything she got from Dr. Brown.
Look one of my best friends in HS and some of my runners at Cornell were super talented but they couldn't figure out their ferritin. I remember telling one of them, "If we had enough money, you'd go see this guy Dr. Brown in Texas."
So I'm not faulting her necessarily. The guy was speaking at USATF conventions. But I do think people's endocrine systems can easily get wrecked by running and he makes it so that doesn't happen.
Magness found Brown on his own. WEtmore found him as well.. The guy was well known as a doc who could help runners.

I read the full ruling on Salazar. After years of investigation, they determined AlSal broke the rules, Magness doped, and none of the athletes ever doped. No athletes banned.
Kara is going to have something that USADA, WADA, and CAS couldn't find in 8 years of investigating? Save your money folks.
She is unlistenable so I am sure she is unreadable but she was a pretty good runner thanks partly to Alberto.
I agree she's beating a dead horse on the Alberto stuff. But I disagree with your assessment of her TV broadcasting. I think she's excellent in the broadcast booth and clearly knows her stuff. If anything I hope this new book doesn't turn off NBC from continuing to hire her.
Personally prefer Des over Kara's commentary any time.
